Delicious food!

We now have zucchini (finally!) and right when they came in I decided I needed to create some sort of delicious dish with them! I am not much of a chef, but the zucchini and Walla Walla Sweet Onions were calling to me so I decided to create something with them.

In a pan I threw together:
  • 1 zucchini sliced
  • 1/2 Walla Walla Sweet Onion chopped
  • 2 chicken sausages (I used these but you can use any type of sausage!)
  • a couple small potatoes sliced

This obviously could be a variety of anything but this is what I chose. I fried it up, cooked some brown rice up as well and voila, delicious dinner!!

We'd love to hear your delicious zucchini dishes! We have some more coming soon but would like to hear and share yours as well!

Blueberry Yogurt Multigrain Pancakes Recipe

While trying to find a good recipe for blueberries the other day, I decided to take a quick peak at one of my favorite food blogs, Smitten Kitchen. Her writing is fun and the food is divine! Luckily the day I was "researching" the first recipe she had up was for blueberry yogurt multigrain pancakes!
I'd love to share pictures of these delicious morsels but actually all of the gorgeous pictures on the site are copywrited and I want her to be able to take all of the credit!!

What you'll need for these pancakes (the recipe makes about 12 to 14) is:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain, full-fat yogurt
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, plus extra for buttering skillet
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (68 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (32 grams) barley or rye flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 cup blueberries, rinsed and dried
Then you can head on over to Smitten Kitchen, see the gorgeous pictures, and find out how to make these delicious pancakes!!

Blueberries, onions and cherries, oh my!

Sorry for the delay (and lack) of updates, but we have some new produce in!!

We now have blueberries and Walla Walla Sweet Onions for your taste buds' pleasure. To stretch it a little, we've got all you need for the Fourth with some cherries (red), Walla Wallas (white), and blueberries (blue)!!

    Happy Fourth of July!!
